Prime Minister Justin Trudeau known as out the Italian authorities’s stance on LGBTQ rights throughout a bilateral assembly with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Hiroshima, Japan.

Trudeau instructed Meloni that “Canada is concerned about some of the (positions) that Italy is taking in terms of LGBT rights.”

In March, homosexual rights activists denounced as homophobic strikes by Meloni’s far-right-led authorities to restrict recognition of parental rights to the organic mum or dad solely in households with same-sex dad and mom.
