Flexible work schedules ‘win win’ for employees and businesses: UN report – National | 24CA News

The report launched Friday by the International Labour Organization says giving employees flexibility by way of the place and after they work might be win-win for each staff and companies.

“A healthy work-life balance among employees is also beneficial for employers and provides a number of positive effects for enterprises,” the report stated.

“Companies that implement work-life balance policies benefit from increased retention of current employees, improved recruitment, lower rates of absenteeism and higher productivity.”

The International Labour Organization report echoes the findings of different latest research and surveys.

While wage and advantages have traditionally topped the record of sought-after incentives, a number of post-pandemic polls have discovered employees prioritizing work-life steadiness.

A survey by recruitment agency Robert Half carried out in late November requested almost 800 LinkedIn customers about what topped their work targets for brand spanking new 12 months.

The No. 1 response was work-life steadiness, with 39 per cent of respondents saying it topped their work want record, adopted by 28 per cent who stated distant work choices have been an important.
