Tim Hortons says the espresso and doughnut chain has signed a deal to open areas in South Korea beginning later this 12 months.


The firm says it has signed a grasp franchise settlement with BKR Co. Ltd.


Financial phrases of the settlement weren’t instantly accessible.


BKR is the corporate that operates Burger King, which can also be owned by Tim Hortons dad or mum firm Restaurant Brands International Inc., in South Korea.


Tim Hortons has about 5,600 eating places throughout 15 nations.


In addition to Tim Hortons and Burger King, Restaurant Brands’ different banners embody Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Firehouse Subs.
