November auto sales in Canada up from year ago: DesRosiers report

TORONTO –

A report by DesRosiers Automotive Consultants says gentle automobile gross sales in November rose 4.1 per cent in contrast with final 12 months.

The agency estimates 114,966 gentle automobile had been offered final month.

The end result was up from 110,448 in November 2021.

However, DAC famous that gross sales totalled 143,315 in November 2019 earlier than the pandemic struck.

DAC managing companion Andrew King says gross sales for the 12 months so far stand at 1.38 million models, making it doubtless that gross sales for 2022 will end the 12 months under 1.5 million.

King says if that occurs will probably be first 12 months the market has fallen under that threshold since 2009.
