Calgary-based Suncor Energy says it suffered a cyber security incident

CALGARY –


A Canadian oil firm is the most recent to report it skilled a cyber safety incident.


Calgary-based Suncor Energy says it has already notified the correct authorities and is working with third-party consultants to research and resolve the scenario.


A press release from the corporate says it’s not conscious of any buyer, provider or worker information being compromised or misused on account of the intrusion.


The firm can also be warning that some transactions with clients and suppliers could also be impacted, as efforts proceed to resolve the incident.


Last Friday, Suncor noticed a 1.08 per cent pull again on the TSX.


The inventory dropped 40 cents, right down to $37.51 on 6.5 million shares
