Mackey believes the bear was on the hunt for some meals and located a spot to dine after discovering a fowl feeder hanging on her entrance garden, she mentioned.

“The bear had no interest in humans, it was just looking for food, so it stuck around for about 45 minutes to an hour just having a lovely meal on the bird feed that we have,” she mentioned.

Although Mackey has heard of bear sightings within the space through the years, she and her household by no means thought they’d be this shut to 1, she mentioned.
