Road to the 2023 U18 Club Nationals: Central Regional

Trappers. Jr. Canadiens. Canucks. 73’s. Generals. Jr. Spitfires. Who wins their option to Saint-Hyacinthe?

Sixty-one groups name the Central Region residence, however solely six stay within the
hunt for the area’s berth on the Men’s U18 National Club Championship –
the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks, Kemptville 73’s, North Bay Trappers, Oshawa
Generals, Toronto Jr. Canadiens and host Windsor Jr. Spitfires

All six are contemporary faces, with North Bay and Elgin-Middlesex the latest
regional rivals, in 2019. But none have performed on the nationwide stage
since 2006, they usually personal simply 5 appearances between them – three for
Oshawa and one every for North Bay and Toronto.

There’s loads of expertise in Windsor; 5 of the six groups completed high two
of their respective leagues within the common season, they usually posted a
mixed 39-12-4 postseason document to succeed in the regionals.
