Quispamsis to host 2023 Para Hockey Cup
Atlantic Canada to welcome the world from Dec. 3-9
CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey Canada has introduced that the city of Quispamsis, N.B., will host the 2023 Para Hockey Cup, Dec. 3-9. It would be the fourth time the city has hosted a Hockey Canada occasion.
Canada’s National Para Hockey Team will compete for gold with three different nations on the Quispamsis qplex. Each staff will play three preliminary-round video games, with the semifinals going down on Dec. 8 and the bronze medal and gold medal video games set for Dec. 9.
Quispamsis has beforehand hosted the 2016 Men’s U18 National Club Championship, co-hosted the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge with the town of Saint John, N.B., and was the positioning of a 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship pre-tournament recreation between the United States and Finland.
“Our region has shown outstanding support for the various events we’ve been able to bring to the qplex,” mentioned Aaron Kennedy, chair of the native host organizing committee. “We know we can rely on our tremendous volunteer and fan bases to ensure we have another successful tournament.”
