Paris St Germain stated French centre-back Presnel Kimpembe will bear surgical procedure after rupturing his proper Achilles tendon in Sunday’s 3-0 Ligue 1 win over Olympique de Marseille.
Kimpembe, who missed the World Cup in Qatar on account of a hamstring damage, was stretchered off early within the first half, two weeks after making his comeback from a three-month layoff.
Sunday’s victory, during which Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi scored, prolonged PSG’s result in eight factors. They host Nantes on Saturday.
