Czech police detained 23 West Ham and Fiorentina soccer followers for his or her behaviour in reference to the Europa Conference League closing in Prague, authorities stated Thursday.

One individual is suspected of attacking a police officer, two others of hooliganism. The relaxation are suspected of committing numerous misdemeanours, together with utilizing flares and different pyrotechnics at numerous locations within the Czech capital, police stated.

Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi was hit within the head by empty beer cups thrown from the stands in the course of the first half of the sport at Eden Stadium.

West Ham condemned the incident and stated it would examine.
