Julie Ertz returns to US team for two friendlies with Ireland
Julie Ertz has been named to the U.S. roster for a pair of upcoming matches in opposition to Ireland after taking day off for the delivery of her son.
Ertz has not performed for the United States because the bronze medal-winning victory over Australia on the Tokyo Olympics. She and husband Zach Ertz, who performs for the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, welcomed son Madden final August.
Ertz was amongst 26 gamers named to the roster introduced Tuesday by coach Vlatko Andonovski.
The United States first performs Ireland on April 7 in Austin, Texas, earlier than the second match on April 11 in St. Louis.
