Bochum fires coach Letsch after poor form despite shock win over Bayern

BOCHUM, Germany — Bochum fired coach Thomas Letsch on Monday after a poor run of type left the staff in peril of relegation from the Bundesliga.

Letsch’s staff shocked Bayern Munich 3-2 in February to place a huge dent within the champion’s title hopes, however Bochum has earned just one level in six video games since then.

On Saturday, Bochum conceded two late targets and misplaced to fellow relegation candidate Cologne 2-1 to depart the staff fifteenth within the 18-team Bundesliga.

Letsch took over Bochum in September 2022 with the staff final within the desk, and ensured the staff averted relegation final season.
