NBL player Harry Froling flies himself home after alleged one-punch attack then needs brain surgery
Brisbane Bullets participant Harry Froling was allegedly the sufferer of a one-punch assault in Wollongong which fractured his cranium and required mind surgical procedure.
NSW Police consider Froling was punched within the head whereas out within the early hours of Sunday morning, following a win over the Illawarra Hawks. The 24-year-old was discovered on the footpath on Crown Street.
He suffered a fractured cranium and bleed on the mind however News Corp reviews after being hospitalised in Wollongong, and Froling refused to endure a head CT scan.

He then reportedly eliminated the intravenous drip and discharged himself from hospital, flying house to Brisbane with the remainder of his crew.
After complaining of complications Froling then went to Brisbane’s Prince Charles Hospital the place ESPN’s Olgun Uluc reported he underwent mind surgical procedure. He is alleged to be in a steady situation.
“Harry is currently recovering from an incident that occurred following the team’s away game in Wollongong and will miss the remainder of the NBL23 season,” a Brisbane Bullets assertion learn.
“As an investigation is underway, the club is not in a position to make any further comment, other than to say the players, coaches and staff all send their well wishes and love to Harry, and his family.
“The club respectfully asks for privacy for the Froling family at this time.”
A 19-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon over the alleged assault.
NSW Police had been seeking to communicate with a person, described as caucasian and in his 20s with quick brown hair, who was seen on Crown Street reverse Aitchison Street across the time of the incident.
“Officers attached to Wollongong Police District commenced an investigation and initial inquiries suggest the man was punched in the head and fell to the ground,” they stated.
