Yankees re-sign GM Brian Cashman to four-year contract

The New York Yankees introduced Monday that they’ve re-signed Senior Vice President and General Manager, Brian Cashman, to a four-year contract.

The deal will preserve Cashman within the Bronx by the 2026 season.

The 55-year-old has labored with the Yankees since beginning as an intern in 1986 and finally took over as Senior Vice President and General Manager in 1998.

The Yankees have received 4 World Series (1998, 1999, 2000 and 2009) with Cashman on the helm.

New York received the AL East in 2022 with a 99-63 report. The staff was eradicated in 4 video games by the Houston Astros within the ALCS.
