Reports: Orioles RHP Flaherty scratched ahead of start vs. Blue Jays, Kremer in

Baltimore Orioles beginning pitcher Jack Flaherty has been scratched forward of Wednesday’s matchup towards the Toronto Blue Jays, based on a number of studies.

Taking Flaherty’s place will likely be right-hander Dean Kremer, who’s 11-5 this season with a 4.50 ERA.

Flaherty, 27, was obtained on the commerce deadline from the St. Louis Cardinals by the Orioles in an effort to bolster their pennant drive.

In three begins for the reason that commerce, Flaherty has allowed 11 earned runs for a 7.07 ERA, with a 1-2 file. Before his commerce, he had a 7-6 file and 4.43 ERA with the struggling Cardinals.
