Reports: Mariners’ Robbie Ray to undergo flexor tendon surgery, out for season
Seattle Mariners left-handed beginning pitcher and 2021 AL Cy Young winner Robbie Ray will bear surgical procedure to restore his left flexor tendon and can miss the remainder of the 2023 season, supervisor Scott Servais introduced based on Daniel Kramer of MLB.com.

Ray began one sport within the 2023 season earlier than being positioned on the 15-day injured checklist in early April with a flexor pressure, throwing 3.1 innings, permitting 4 hits and three earned runs whereas putting out three batters.
Following his 2021 AL Cy Young season with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Mariners signed Ray to a five-year, $115-million contract that features a participant possibility after the 2024 marketing campaign.
