Report: Teoscar Hernandez agrees to one-year, $23.5 million contract with Dodgers

Former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez has agreed to a one-year, $23.5 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, per ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

Hernandez joins the Dodgers’ record of main acquisitions this low season, becoming a member of Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Tyler Glasnow in Los Angeles.

Passan additionally reported that $8.5 million of Hernandez’s $23.5 million will likely be deferred, and is to be paid out from 2030 to 2039.
