Report: Orioles owner Angelos says Brown suspension ‘shouldn’t have happened’

Baltimore Orioles proprietor John Angelos informed The New York Times that crew broadcaster Kevin Brown shouldn’t have been suspended for his seemingly innocuous feedback concerning the membership.

“Nothing like that is going to happen again,” he informed The New York Times in a narrative revealed Monday. “It shouldn’t have happened once.”

Angelos, who not often speaks to the media, added to the Times that the Orioles group is reviewing the method that resulted in Brown being taken off the air.

Brown was suspended for feedback on a MASN-TV broadcast July 23, when he identified that the Orioles had been 3-2 at Tampa Bay this season after successful solely three video games there between 2020-22.

For his half, Brown has since mentioned on social media his relationship with the membership had been “mischaracterized,” describing it as “wonderful.” He has since returned to the sales space.
