ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez has returned to Houston with neck discomfort, Houston supervisor Dusty Baker introduced earlier than Monday evening’s recreation towards the Tampa Bay Rays.

He mentioned Alvarez has had the issue for a few week.

“We decided to send him to go get examined,” Baker mentioned. “Hopefully it’s not too bad. So, we’ll see.”

Baker is hopeful that Alvarez can keep away from occurring the injured listing.

Baker mentioned it has not been decided if Alvarez will return for the ultimate two video games of the highway sequence with the Rays.
