Indigo recall: More than 21K mugs, ornaments pulled out of Canadian markets due to mould – National | 24CA News

Tens and hundreds of Indigo-branded ceramic mugs, mug ornaments and houseware merchandise have been recalled as a consequence of mould contamination, a brand new Health Canada security alert reveals.

Health Canada stated on Tuesday that 21,890 items of the affected merchandise have been offered in markets throughout Canada, and are believed to have been stored in humid circumstances.

“As a result, mould may be present under the glazed surface of the mugs and ornaments,” the company stated.

The affected merchandise have been manufactured in China and offered in Canada between August and December 2022.
