A 47-year-old girl is useless and two different individuals are injured after a head-on crash in Scugog, Ont., in a single day, police say.
Durham Regional Police mentioned officers responded to the crash on Island Road, north of Demara Road, at round 3:05 a.m. Saturday.
Police mentioned a Nissan SUV was heading south on Island Road when a four-door Hyundai, travelling north, crossed over the road and collided with the SUV.
The girl who was driving the Nissan died on the scene, whereas a male passenger from that car was taken to a neighborhood hospital with minor accidents.
The 19-year-old man who was driving the Hyundai was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre the place he stays in important situation, police mentioned.
The space was closed for a number of hours as officers investigated.
