Winnipeggers appear to know what we like in terms of naming our cats and canines.
According to a checklist of the highest 10 pet names offered by town, the preferred names for each canines and cats haven’t modified a lot since Global News final checked in three years in the past.

The checklist, collected from town’s licensed pooches and kitties, reveals Bella and Charlie tied for the preferred canine moniker with 616 licences every, and with 306 licences, Luna topped the checklist for many most well-liked cat identify.
The similar checklist launched in January 2020 had Bella as the highest canine identify and Luna within the high spot for felines in 2019.
