“The dog ran back into its home and was followed by the raccoon.”
After a “fight” with the members of the family inside, the raccoon was then relegated to the restroom.
Typically, animal management would deal with a problem like this, however Mounties mentioned it was unable to attend, spurring the officers into motion. They have been in a position to wrangle the wild animal with a pole and a lacrosse stick.
The animal seize was caught on video by the householders and shared by police.
