Violent Sunday in Whalley after person stabbed, another shot close by: Surrey RCMP – BC | 24CA News
It was a violent Sunday in Surrey’s Whalley neighbourhood after reviews of a stabbing adopted by a capturing two hours later simply blocks away.
Surrey RCMP imagine the stabbing occurred simply earlier than 6 p.m. close to 107a Avenue and King George Boulevard, simply north of the Surrey RCMP detachment.
“The victim was transported to an area hospital as they had sustained serious injuries,” Surrey RCMP confirmed in a press release to Global News.
Mounties say the sufferer is at the moment in essential situation after struggling life-threatening accidents.
Just two hours later and two blocks away, Mounties stated an individual was shot and brought to hospital with severe accidents.
In this second case, Mounties report it occurred round 8 p.m. close to the Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre.
Mounties haven’t confirmed any arrests or suspect descriptions.
“At this time, it is unknown if this shooting is related to the ongoing BC Gang Conflict,” Mounties stated in a press release.
No phrase on whether or not the crimes are related.
City Parkway, between 107A and 108 Avenue was closed to site visitors Sunday night whereas police investigated.
