Two men charged after suspected church arson in Grouard, Alta. – Edmonton | 24CA News
Two males had been charged after a suspected arson assault on a church in Grouard, Alta., a hamlet close to High Prairie.
In a news launch on Monday, High Prairie RCMP stated officers helped emergency crews with a church fireplace at round 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
Mounties stated a preliminary investigation signifies the incident was allegedly “suspicious in nature.”
Officers requested the general public to offer footage and details about the incident on Monday.
On Tuesday, police charged two folks in relation to the incident.
Kenneth Ferguson, 56, and Gerald Capot, each of High Prairie, had been every charged with break and enter to commit theft in addition to arson.
They had been remanded after a judicial interim listening to till their subsequent scheduled courtroom look on May 29.
