Two charged in March murder of Kingsclear First Nation resident – New Brunswick | 24CA News

A person and girl from New Brunswick have been charged in reference to the homicide of a Kingsclear First Nation man again in March.

On April 23, Joshua Raines, 47, and Samantha Butler, 21, appeared in Fredericton Provincial Court and have been charged with second-degree homicide for allegedly taking pictures Lucas Solomon-Polchies on March 12, alongside Route 102 in Lincoln, N.B.

RCMP say members of the Oromocto and Keswick detachments and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to the incident round 4:10 a.m.

Polchies, 27, was discovered with a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital, the place he later died on account of his accidents.

The New Brunswick RCMP Major Crime Unit decided Polchies’ demise was a murder.

In a news launch, the RCMP acknowledged Raines and Butler have been arrested with out incident in Fredericton and are scheduled to look in court docket on April 24.

In Polchies’ obituary, he’s remembered as having an infectious smile, contagious chortle and deep love for the outside, his household and mates.
