One native Scarborough resident is talking out, saying he was left shocked and offended on Tuesday morning after discovering a swastika painted on the surface of a bus shelter close to his house.
The swastika was spray-painted over a “Toronto For All” commercial within the space of Surrey Avenue and Pharmacy Avenue, which prominently incorporates a lady carrying a hijab and urges Torontonians to “accept without exceptions.”
Donald Parker observed the vandalism whereas driving on Pharmacy Avenue and had one phrase to explain the graffiti: “Disgusting.”
“I don’t need Nazis or white supremacists anywhere, let alone my neighbourhood,” he informed Global News.
Parker added that he had lived within the space for over 40 years and had by no means seen something just like the spray paint earlier than.
“I’d like to see the graffiti removed right away,” he stated. “Maybe there should be some type of patrol around here to keep an eye out for any more graffiti or vandalism.”
