Strong winds and fallen tree behind death of man, Powerview RCMP say – Winnipeg | 24CA News
RCMP officers are investigating after a person was discovered useless at a campground in Manigotagan, Man.
Officers with the Powerview department responded to a report of a sudden dying on Monday at roughly 12:20 a.m. They stated a thunderstorm, producing sturdy winds, could have contributed to a big tree falling onto a tent. The two occupants, a male and a feminine, have been sleeping inside.
Officials stated close by campers heard the feminine occupant calling for assist and got here to her help. She was not bodily injured.
The 60-year-old male occupant was pronounced useless on the scene.
RCMP proceed to research together with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
