Search for missing Bass Lake fisher enters Day 4: police – Barrie | 24CA News

Ontario Provincial Police in Orillia are persevering with to seek for a lacking boater on Bass Lake Monday by air and water after the fisher didn’t return dwelling Friday.

OPP have been contacted round midday. Friday relating to a male who had gone fishing the earlier evening and didn’t return dwelling on the scheduled time.

The OPP marine unit, aviation providers and underwater search and restoration unit are all collaborating within the search in and across the space for the lacking male.

“The search has continued since that time, with underwater search and recovery and Marine units conducting searches of Bass Lake and the surrounding areas,” stated Brett Boniface, OPP constable.
