Saskatoon fundraiser aims to maintain music therapy for long-term care residents – Saskatoon | 24CA News

A fundraiser is underway in Saskatoon to keep up music remedy at Samaritan Place, a long-term care house.

The Don’t Stop the Music fundraiser is aiming to lift $150,000, which Samaritan Place says will cowl the donation-funded solely music remedy on the long-term care house for 3 years and supply a PA system for the constructing to permit music and communication for residents.

Carmen Campman with Samaritan Place emphasised the significance of getting music remedy, and the advantages that it offers.

“When you see our residents interact with music, you see the benefits it can give,” Campman stated.
