Regina man faces manslaughter charge after man found dead on Rae Street – Regina | 24CA News
A dying investigation led by the Regina Police Service main crime unit has resulted within the arrest of a 37-year-old Regina man.
Police started the investigation on Wednesday within the 1600 block of Rae Street, and stated they later thought of it a murder investigation.
Officers say they had been dispatched to a residence on Rae Street for a report of a weapons offence round 2:35 a.m. and located a useless man who was later confirmed to be 33-year-old Justin Lankey.
Through the investigation, police later charged 37-year-old Mitchell Sanderson with manslaughter.
Sanderson makes his first look at provincial court docket Thursday morning.
