Alberta’s police watchdog stated Red Deer RCMP officers have been justified in taking pictures an armed man outdoors town’s hospital in 2021.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team stated a 46-year-old man, who had a compound bow and arrows, was shot by officers within the central Alberta metropolis.
It occurred round 9 p.m. on May 24, 2021, when police have been responding to experiences of an erratic driver, who then pulled up subsequent to an officer who was parked of their marked police automobile close to the Red Deer Regional Hospital parkade.
“Unprompted, the (armed man) made a statement to (the officer) about having a weapon and he was going to the hospital.
