Some much-needed enhancements to the Canmore emergency division are on the way in which.
Thursday marked the start of $4.4 million in development for the ED that serves the Bow Valley, west of Calgary.
Half of the funds had been raised by the Canmore and Area Health Care Foundation (CAHCF), a neighborhood registered charity. One main donor mentioned he was excited to see the beginning of labor on the “important project.”
“Every community deserves access to exceptional healthcare, especially during emergencies,” Lorne Heuckroth mentioned. “The renovation of our local emergency room is a testament to our collective dedication towards building a safer and healthier future for all residents.”
CAHCF’s fundraising hoped to handle a wide range of points on the Canmore General Hospital’s ED, together with affected person privateness, a triage space, improved know-how and workspaces.
