OPP have launched a loss of life investigation after a physique was present in a Norfolk County house over the weekend.
On Sunday, round 8:20 a.m., police had been referred to as to an handle on Mechanic Street in Waterford, Ont., after receiving a report of a loss of life on the house.
“There is believed to be no threat to public safety,” police stated in a press release Sunday afternoon. “Residents in the area of the investigation can expect to see an increased police presence.”
The investigation is ongoing below the path of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and in partnership with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.
