An Ontario girl is $2 million richer after her associate gave her a scratch ticket.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) stated in a press release that 29-year-old Woodbridge resident Tonicia James received the highest prize when enjoying the Instant $2 Million Extreme sport.
The mom of two stated she’s an occasional lottery participant and enjoys enjoying Instant video games.
She and her associate have a convention of shopping for one another tickets on New Year’s and this time, she hit the jackpot.
“When I played my ticket, I thought I won $2,000. I scanned it using my OLG App and was in shock when I saw all the zeroes,” she stated.
“I felt like I was dreaming,”
James stated she plans on shopping for a house with the winnings and probably taking a visit to Cuba.
The successful ticket was purchased at a Petro Canada on Jane Street in Concord, the OLG stated.
