Okotoks RCMP investigate Pride crosswalk vandalism captured on video  | 24CA News

The small city of Okotoks, Alta., had a Pride crosswalk defaced, and the incident was caught on surveillance video.

During a routine patrol on June 13, at 11:55 p.m., Okotoks RCMP officers say they seen recent white paint splashed throughout a rainbow crosswalk in Okotoks together with paint smeared on a crosswalk signal.

Police say surveillance within the space reveals a male suspect on a skateboard carrying what’s believed to be baggage of white paint.

In a news launch, Mounties stated the suspect ran backwards and forwards throughout the sidewalk spilling the paint after which wiped the publish with it. The suspect was carrying a darkish hoody and denims and was carrying a skateboard.
