A New Westminster, B.C. resident is being hailed as “heroic” for his or her position in rescuing a baby who was injured and caught in a storage door on Sunday night.

According to the municipality’s police division, the neighbour rushed over to the Agnes Street residence once they heard a mom’s “distress” as her little one was caught within the shifting elements of the house’s storage door.
