Do you assume your neighbourhood is simply too noisy?
If the reply is sure and you reside or work in Vancouver, now’s your probability to pontificate about it.
The metropolis says it’s conducting an “extensive review” with the intention of modernizing its Noise Control Bylaw, and is in search of public suggestions from individuals who stay, work, play or personal companies in Vancouver.

“The City supports protecting the public’s right to enjoy public spaces without unreasonable noise nuisances, while also supporting economic and cultural activity and growth,” the town mentioned in a Wednesday news launch.
In the primary section of its evaluation, the town says it’s going to concentrate on updating the bylaw to make it simpler to know, enhance its processes for responding to noise complaints, and create new training sources about noise rules.

The metropolis has launched a web-based survey, and is asking folks to weigh in on its present strategy to regulating noise and on doable enhancements to the rules.
Staff will course of the responses and return to council with suggestions subsequent fall.
The on-line noise survey closes at midnight on May 30.
