It turned out to be a really profitable McHappy Day in Guelph.
McDonald’s areas throughout Canada held their annual McHappy Day the place a portion of gross sales of all menu objects goes to native Ronald McDonald House charities.
McDonald’s Restaurants of Guelph spokesperson Trevor Westerhoff stated in an e mail to CJOY and Global News that $60,000 was raised from all the Guelph areas on Wednesday.
He says the cash will go to assist the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Central Ontario and the KidsAbility Foundation.
Westeroff says the cash raised was the results of the keenness and tenacity of their crew, the generosity of their visitors and group sponsors, and donations by their native house owners and operators.
CJOY’s Mike Devine was on the McDonald’s on Sportsworld Drive in Kitchener.
Lisa and Brent from the Breakfast Club on Magic 106 did their present stay from the McDonald’s location on Watson Parkway North in Guelph on Wednesday.
