In a launch, the RCMP stated police, EHS and hearth providers responded to a collision on Highway 104 close to Broadway round 11:08 Friday night.
Responders “located a small SUV and two pickup trucks with extensive damage.”
The launch stated the preliminary investigation signifies a crimson Dodge pickup truck travelling east crossed the centre line, sideswiping the small SUV.
It then “continued a short distance in the westbound lane striking head-on a blue Dodge pickup that was carrying a flatbed trailer with a pickup on the trailer.”
The driver and sole occupant of the crimson pickup truck, a 53-year-old man from Antigonish County, needed to be extracted from the automobile by hearth providers. He was transported to hospital with what gave the impression to be non-life-threatening accidents.
The passenger within the blue pickup truck, a 56-year-old man from New Brunswick, was additionally transported to hospital with what gave the impression to be non-life-threatening accidents.
The driver of the blue pickup truck, in addition to the 2 feminine occupants of the SUV, didn’t seem injured, the discharge stated.
The freeway was closed for a brief interval Friday night and later reopened. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
