Kelowna to spend M on upgrading parks this year – Okanagan | 24CA News

The City of Kelowna says it is going to make investments $95 million in infrastructure initiatives this 12 months, together with $21 million in native parks.

Part of that spending contains building on the fifth section of Glenmore recreation park.

Designed in 2023 following prolonged enter from group engagement periods, the park will finally supply quite a few facilities, together with tennis and pickleball courts, a turf discipline, health tools and panorama enhancements.

“We’re creating new parks and upgrading well-loved ones, which will provide residents with vibrant, accessible, outdoor spaces where they can connect with their families, friends and neighbours,” stated Robert Parlane, park and constructing planning supervisor.
