Imperial Oil Ltd. says it’s going forward with a $720-million venture to construct a renewable diesel facility at its Strathcona refinery close to Edmonton.

The venture, first introduced in August 2021, is predicted to provide 20,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel as soon as it’s full.
