Halifax Public Gardens building damaged by fire in another suspected vandalism attack – Halifax | 24CA News
Halifax Regional Police are investigating after the Horticultural Hall on the Halifax Public Gardens was broken in a suspicious fireplace, the most recent in a sequence of weird vandalism on the park.
Police and firefighters responded to the hearth round 11 p.m. Monday evening. The fireplace was extinguished and there have been no reported accidents.

It’s the second time the 175-year-old constructing was broken in a suspicious fireplace in a matter of months.
