Extremely chilly climate has prompted Environment Canada to concern two climate warnings for B.C. on Sunday.
A high-pressure system is pushing arctic air over B.C.’s Interior in the direction of the coast.

An excessive chilly warning is in impact for the Chilcotin area, as Environment Canada says temperatures will plummet to almost minus 40 levels Sunday night time.
People are being warned of a major threat of frostbite and hypothermia.
“A very cold airmass combined with light winds from the north is giving rise to wind chill values near minus 40,” Environment Canada mentioned in an alert.
“Wind chill values will moderate during the daylight hours but are anticipated to return to minus 40 overnight.”
An Artic outflow warning has additionally been issued for the North Coast inland area.
Frigid temperatures with wind chill are anticipated to drop to close minus 20.
Both alerts are anticipated to final into Monday morning.
