Exhibition honouring Ukrainian students killed in war available at Western University – London | 24CA News

An exhibition at Western University is honouring college students who misplaced their lives in Ukraine as a result of struggle.

The Unissued Diplomas exhibition initially started in Ukraine and is now out there at over 45 universities the world over, together with at Western.

Madeleine Spezowka of Western’s Ukrainian Students’ Association says it options diplomas for 36 college students who misplaced their lives.

“It goes over their age, when they were killed, what they were studying and when they would’ve graduated.”

According to its web site, Unissued Diplomas was created “to remind the world about the ongoing war and the price Ukrainians pay daily in their fight for freedom.”

The exhibition at Western University is on show at Weldon Library and might be out there till the tip of June.

The diplomas are additionally out there for viewing on the Unused Diplomas web site.
