Police in Stellarton, N.S. are investigating the loss of life of a person discovered behind an influence substation as a attainable copper-wire theft try.
In a launch Tuesday, Stellarton police stated they have been referred to as by Nova Scotia Power at 8 a.m., after staff discovered a deceased man on the substation on North Foord Street.

In an announcement, the chief working officer of Nova Scotia Power stated their ideas have been with the household of the person “at this very difficult time.”
“Unfortunately, this is a grave reminder of just how dangerous the theft of copper wire can be. We are cooperating fully with the Stellarton Police as they investigate this devastating situation,” he stated.
According to the utility firm, reside wire can carry greater than 25,000 volts of electrical energy, “so there is a very high risk of electrocution.”
