Police within the South Okanagan say a physique was recovered from Osoyoos Lake on Tuesday afternoon.
RCMP say they have been alerted of the incident close to Gyro Beach round 2:30 p.m., with responding officers recovering the physique of a person round 50 ft from shore.
Osoyoos RCMP mentioned they’re working with the BC Coroners Service to establish the physique and decide if there’s any correlation to a 30-year-old man reported lacking from Osoyoos on July 7.
That particular person is Carlos Tomas Aranda Burgoin, a person from Mexico who had been in Canada for one month earlier than his disappearance.
