Bedford high school closes after weapons complaint, 1 person in custody – Halifax | 24CA News
Halifax Regional Police say one individual is in custody after officers responded to a weapons criticism Monday morning at Charles P. Allen High School.
In a launch, police mentioned there is no such thing as a risk to public security.
“Police are asking the public to remain out of the area to allow officers to conduct the investigation,” it mentioned.
The launch didn’t say if anybody was injured and a spokesperson for the police power couldn’t be reached for remark.
The Halifax Regional Centre for Education tweeted shortly after 10 a.m. that the college was in a maintain and safe and fogeys have been notified.
Shortly after, the centre for schooling mentioned Charles P. Allen High might be closing for the day.
“All students are safe and there is currently no threat to public safety,” it mentioned.
