Numerous girls and youth of Arab first rate in Guelph, Ont., have acquired their certificates after present process a police residents coaching program.
The program was designed by the Guelph Police Service in cooperation with the Arab Women’s Society of Guelph.
It consisted of two eight-week applications beneath the brand new Guelph Police Citizens Police Academy Program.
The first program in October of 2022 noticed 25 girls obtain their certificates. The second one occurred this previous March and 45 youths and two girls have been awarded their certificates.
In a news launch, AWSOG President Sundes Alammi says it’s nice to see the neighborhood come collectively to guard and enhance the security of their folks.
Guelph Deputy Police Chief Steve Gill says the collaboration is a good instance of neighborhood teams working along with a typical purpose of enhancing neighborhood security.
