After a number of months on the run, 4 cows from a herd of runaway cattle have been captured on Saturday night time in Saint-Sévère, Que.

Another operation will happen quickly to catch 7 or 8 animals that stay at giant

After a number of months on the run, 4 cows from a herd of runaway cattle have been captured on Saturday night time in Saint-Sévère, Que.

The regional chapter of the Union des producteurs agricoles says the cows have been transported again to their authentic farm on Sunday morning.

Specialists examined the cows after their seize and confirmed the animals have been in good condition.

The union says climate circumstances over the previous couple of days prevented the whole herd from being captured, so one other operation will happen quickly to catch seven or eight animals that stay at giant.

In July, a herd of about 20 cows jumped out of their discipline and had been on the lam ever since — contentedly grazing wherever they like and wreaking havoc on farmers’ fields close by.

All earlier makes an attempt at capturing them failed, together with a valiant effort by a group of cowboys from close by Saint-Tite — a city recognized for its annual western pageant.

The union says that over the previous couple of days, numerous feeding factors have been arrange in strategic areas together with fences and different gadgets that allowed the cows to lastly be captured.
